Tammany Gras Free Concert & After-Party at Covington Trailhead from 1 PM 'til 4 PM
Carnival in Covington was established in 2017 to amplify the Fat Tuesday celebrations of the Covington Lions Club and the Mystic Krewe of Covington. Soul Revival will be the entertainment. There will be a food court, kids' corner, and the Covington Business Association will be sponsoring a costume contest to win prizes.
Today, the Mardi Gras Day celebration has grown into a destination all its own! You'll dance, eat, and catch loads of beads and custom throws as you revel in the spirit of our unique, fun-loving town. Get ready for the newly branded Krewe of Bogue Falaya parade.

The 2026 parade will feature 600 riding members and 23 traditional Mardi Gras floats. Participants include bands, dance groups, horse groups, local celebrities, fair queens, and more!
